An application that promotes sexual wellness and healthy sexual relationships. The application also pursues to promote awareness and break taboos related to sexual activities in the community
Sri Lankans must navigate their sexual growth and adulthood within a complex and usually contradictory framework of traditional social and cultural conventions and attitudes. In society, there is a serious lack of education about sexual and reproductive health. According to the evidence, Sri Lankans do not have access to communication channels such as family discussions, curriculum-based education, or peer discussions through which they could learn about safe sex, relationships, reproductive health, and other topics.
To promote sexual health awareness and healthy sexual relationships. Further to breakdown traditional taboos associated with sexual health.
Discovery Phase
In the discovery phase of the project, we investigated the sexual health awareness of the country and explored the knowledge gaps related to the subject. Further, we explored what are the pain points of the intended users when it comes to obtaining existing knowledge about sexual wellness.
Further there was a design thinking workshop with Doctor G.W.H Amanda about the possible avenues that could be explored with the application as well. This offered some great insight about the existing knowledge gaps and requirements.

Insight Generation
Next the main insights for the project was generated and the basic requirement for the application was highlighted.

Information Architecture
The solution was broken down into three main aspects in order to address the generated insights effectively.
1. Learn
2. Explore
3. Connect
Learn
Mainly focuses on educating the crowd regarding reproductive health (family planning, contraception, emergency contraception, reproduction-related law, artificial insemination), sexual health (intercourse, pleasure, fertility, sexuality spectrum), and other diseases, subfertility, sexual problems, menopause, etc.
Explore
Centers on discovering third-party entities such as professionals, clinics, and contraception. Contains various filters and tags to narrow down the search for required assistance.
Connect
Solely dedicated to couples who want to connect their profiles. They will be able to share articles, period tracking, and family planning timelines and play in-app games with each other.
Apart from three main sections, the application also incorporates a chatbot, where users will be able to get the summarized version of answers to their inquiries.
